Star novice Galopin Des Champs declared for Fairyhouse Grade 1 on Sunday
Galopin Des Champs will bid for redemption on Sunday following his Cheltenham Festival blunder when he lines up for the BoyleSports Gold Cup Novice Chase at Fairyhouse.
Despite 16 initial entries, the Willie Mullins-trained star chaser will face just five rivals in the Grade 1 contest that headlines the second day of the Irish Grand National meeting.
The six-year-old looked destined to continue his flawless start to chasing in the Turners Novices' Chase at Cheltenham last month before stumbling and falling after the last fence.
The error paved the way for victory for Bob Olinger, who had been labouring behind for some time after Galopin Des Champs stretched to a 12-length lead.

Although Bob Olinger will be absent from Sunday's contest, Arkle fifth Riviere D'Etel will line up under Jack Kennedy, having romped home by 11 lengths on her sole start at Fairyhouse on her chase debut in October.
The mare is the sole runner for Gordon Elliott, while Mullins – who has won the last three renewals of this race – also fields Blue Sari, who trailed behind stablemate Galopin Des Champs over Christmas but was a convincing winner last time out.
Beacon Edge returns to the scene of his last victory under Sean Flanagan, having claimed the Drinmore Novice Chase in November, while French Dynamite and Grade 1 winner Master McShee complete the line-up.
Sunday's Fairyhouse card also features the Grade 1 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Novice Hurdle Championship Final (3.10), where Harry Fry aims to take on a packed field of Irish challengers with Cheltenham Festival winner Love Envoi.
The unbeaten mare faces 15 rivals in an illustrious 2m4½f race with past winners that include Annie Power and Honeysuckle.
Six of the declarations reoppose from Love Envoi's Mares' Novices' Hurdle victory last month with third Grangee one of eight Willie Mullins-trained runners in the field.
Paul Townend opts to ride Brandy Love, who sports a first-time hood, while Danny Mullins retains the ride on Royal Bond winner Statuaire.
Minella Times back in action at Cork
Racheal Blackmore will be absent from Fairyhouse's meeting in favour of Cork, where she is set to partner last year's Grand National winner Minella Times in the BARONERACING.COM Chase (3.30).
The pair were brought down at Valentine's in last week's Aintree contest but will make a quick turnaround for this 3m Grade 3 test, which features a field of seven.
This year's National-winning trainer Emmet Mullins will saddle The Shunter, who also runs for JP McManus and will be partnered by Simon Torrens.
Mullins will rely on Ryanair fifth Melon, who has yet to win over this distance and makes his first start at the track under Bryan Cooper, while the distinctive silks of Gigginstown House Stud will be carried by Daly Tiger for trainer Noel Meade.
