Snowden hoping local council helps him take next step with another Lambourn yard

Jamie Snowden, fresh from his biggest success at Cheltenham with Ga Law, is optimistic local officials can help him take his burgeoning career to the next level by approving planning permission on a second yard in Lambourn.

Snowden has purchased what he describes as the top part of Saxon House, where jumps titan Fulke Walwyn trained in his heyday.

He sought planning permission in March, but environmental issues relating to nutrient pollution in certain parts of England have held things up. However, Snowden seems hopeful a recent meeting can lead to building work beginning.
