Snow is forecast for Royal Ascot on Tuesday
Thunder Snow Saeed Bin Suroor
The Godolphin Stables team pulled out at 5am to get to the watered gallop before it opened at 6am and sent the best kit up first with the Irish 2,000 Guineas runner-up showing the way to the English 2,000 Guineas fifth Dream Castle. Thunder Snow enjoyed getting his toe in and may well be ridden differently in his rematch with Churchill in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
Fresh from two winners the previous day, Cumani was in good spirits later on the watered strip where he is among those who prefer to start their workers off at the Cambridgeshire start before pulling up at the Bushes. Spring Cup winner Banksea (Luke Morris) matched strides with his less streetwise partner (Jamie Spencer) and on this evidence there will be little between them in next week's Royal Hunt Cup.
Mirage Dancer Sir Michael Stoute
The son of Frankel looks to have benefited from swerving the Investec Derby judging by the way he travelled in his exercise under Andrea Atzeni on the Al Bahathri Polytrack. Atzeni is set to get the gig on Khalid Abdullah's colt in the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot next Friday with Ryan Moore having Ballydoyle commitments.
Barsanti Roger Varian
May have needed the run when third on his return at Goodwood last month and looked to have moved forward from that when shining in a mile exercise on the watered gallop. This classy looker is 33-1 for the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday week and can outrun those odds.
Great Work!!! Daban John Gosden
Gosden has a fair spread of ammunition for the royal bash and this three-year-old put herself bang there when shining in her post-breakfast exercise on the Al Bahathri. The Nell Gwyn Stakes winner went onto be third in the 1,000 Guineas and may head for the Group 3 Jersey Stakes on Wednesday.
