As last season wore on, Caravaggio's high-summer fireworks were somewhat overshadowed by stablemate Churchill but, make no mistake, the Coventry and Phoenix Stakes hero posted some breathtaking performances. Whether Aidan O'Brien attempts to stretch his as-yet-unproven stamina to the mile of the 2,000 Guineas remains to be seen, but at least one bookmaker has reported support for the son of Scat Daddy in recent days.
