Crack Scottish chaser Seeyouatmidnight, who once beat Bristol De Mai by 12 lengths at level weights, may have run his last race.

The gelding has been ruled out for the 2018-19 season by trainer Sandy Thomson, who admits the chances of the ten-year-old's returning to the track are 'not great'.

Seeyouatmidnight was last seen in the Randox Health Grand National, showing up well to two out but finishing lame.
