Scottish Grand National Preview | ITV Racing Tips | Racing Postcast
Bruce Millington is joined by David Jennings, Keith Melrose and Paddy Power’s Graham Temple for a look ahead to the weekend’s action, including the Scottish Grand National at Ayr.
The team start proceedings with a look to Sunday’s card at Newbury where we are treated to several Group races, one being the Group 3 Greenham Stakes which has been previously won by the likes of Frankel, Kingman and Barney Roy. Which one of this season's three-year-olds will follow in their footsteps?
The Scotty Brand Handicap Chase is the opening contest at Ayr on Sunday and the panel all agree on one runner here for an in-form stable.
Allmankind is also set for a return to the track having finished 13 lengths behind the impressive Shishkin at the Cheltenham Festival last month. Prior to that, he racked up three consecutive wins, but what do the panel make of his chances here?
The feature race at Ayr on Sunday is the Scottish Grand National, where over 20 runners are set to go to post. Bruce, DJ, Keith and Graham dissect the race and give their best bets for the four-mile contest.
