There's plenty of action to look forward to on Saturday as ITV4 brings us coverage from Cheltenham and Doncaster. Broadcasting begins at 1.30 and runs until 4.00, showcasing four Cheltenham races and three at Doncaster. The most notable action comes from Cheltenham with the (1.50) and the (3.00).

ITV Racing: today's horse racing tips

Racing Post expert Stuart Redding picks his best bets for Saturday's ITV Racing to help you find more winners.

1.50 Cheltenham – Caspian Caviar Gold Cup

Paul Nicholls saddles three in this big handicap with Southfield Stone the one I prefer. The seven-year-old has produced solid displays in two visits to Cheltenham this season, getting the better of Coole Cody here in October before finishing second to all-the-way winner Protektorat in another 2m4f novice contest. This big-field handicap will be a very different test but he is on a workable mark and conditions should be fine for him.

3.00 Cheltenham – International Hurdle

Ballyandy lost out to Call Me Lord in the 2019 renewal but I fancy him to turn the tables this time around. The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained nine-year-old doesn't have the greatest strike-rate but he always runs his race and has looked better than ever in two handicaps this season and was a potential winner in the Greatwood Hurdle until his big weight told on the final climb. A repeat performance may well be good enough in a race that lacks a standout performer.

ITV7 Tips and Predictions

Race 1 – 1.50 Cheltenham

Having performed with credit behind the exciting Imperial Aura at Carlisle on his reappearance, Windsor Avenue (nap) looks nicely handicapped off an unchanged mark and is open to further progress in any case.

Race 2 – 2.05 Doncaster

This looks a good opportunity for Ofalltheginjoints, who won an Exeter handicap last time out in the style of a horse who had more left in the tank.

Race 3 – 2.25 Cheltenham

The best of this promising collection may be Ask A Honey Bee who looks sure to benefit from this step up in trip.

Race 4 – 2.40 Doncaster

He was disappointing at Sedgefield last time but the muddling gallop was against Glorious Zoff and the Irish raider is worth another chance, with the form of October's hurdle debut win at Sligo reading well.

Race 5 – 3.00 Cheltenham

Talented four-year-old Goshen remains a gold-plated prospect over hurdles but Ch’tibello is a solid alternative at bigger odds.

Race 6 – 3.15 Doncaster

Age is no barrier to success when it comes to Nicky Richards-trained horses and his 11-year-old pair Looking Well and Chidswell could fight out the finish, which was also on the cards in the 2019 Grimthorpe here only for Looking Well to fall at the final fence. Looking Well was an encouraging fourth over hurdles at Kelso last month when back from a long absence and is narrowly preferred to his stablemate.

Race 7 – 3.35 Cheltenham

While she is not the only contender who brings potential, The White Mouse made a striking impression on her successful reappearance at Wincanton and has a good chance assuming she acts on today's softer ground.
