Runner-up Technician can reverse form with Bangkok if they meet at Epsom

The bet365 Classic Trial often produces a smart performer and both Bangkok and Technician emerged from the race with plenty of credit, even if neither look capable of winning the Investec Derby in little over a month's time.

Bangkok earned most of the plaudits, being cut generally to 12-1 (from 25) for Epsom, but nowhere near enough was made of how unlucky Technician was – and how he is more than twice the price for the Derby is a bit of a head-scratcher.
