Local boy Robbie Power has never won the Ladbrokes Troytown Handicap Chase at Navan and believes he will never get a better chance than Sunday's ride on course specialist Chris's Dream.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained seven-year-old is two from two at Navan and beat Grade 1 winner Champagne Classic on his most recent visit in the Grade 2 Ten Up Novice Chase in February.

It is a massive weekend for Power, who teams up with Lostintranslation in the Betfair Chase at Haydock on Saturday, and his confidence could not be higher after a treble at Chepstow on Wednesday and another winner at Thurles on Thursday.

"I've never won the Troytown and it's a race I'd love to win. I was third last year on Magic Of Light but I was never even close before that. I think I've got a great chance this time on Chris's Dream," Power said.

The jockey added: "Chris's Dream has won first time out before and that's why he's going straight to the Troytown. He seems best when fresh. He'll like the ground and he loves Navan. He has won both his starts on the track and seems to love the place. I can't wait to ride him."

Chris's Dream is currently co-second favourite for the Troytown at 10-1 with sponsor Ladbrokes. Portmore Lough remains their 7-1 favourite, while topweight Discorama and Tower Bridge are also available at 10-1.
