Richard Johnson booked for two Ludlow rides on Wednesday
Champion jockey Richard Johnson is set to resume with two rides at Ludlow on Wednesday.
Johnson, who has been sidelined since a fall from Grey Gold at Wetherby on Boxing Day, said on Tuesday: “It's been nice to spend some time with the family at home, but it will be good to get back. I’ve two nice rides at Ludlow, so fingers crossed.”
Currently 18 in front of closest pursuer Harry Skelton in the Stobart jump jockeys' championship, Johnson has been booked to partner the John Quinn-trained Look My Way, the likely hot favourite in the juvenile hurdle, and Victarion for his boss Philip Hobbs in the maiden hurdle.
Johnson had to drive to Warwick early on New Year’s Day to take a mandatory concussion test.
