Who were the eyecatchers on a big day of clues at Leopardstown?
All eyes were on Leopardstown on Saturday to try and make the 2022 Classic picture slightly clearer, with 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas trials on the card, but who caught the eye of our experts in south Dublin?
Agartha
By Graeme Rodway, tipster
Agartha set quite a fierce pace in the 1,000 Guineas Trial and, although unable to hold off winner Homeless Songs, it was an excellent effort on her first run of the season.
At the finish she was surrounded by horses who were ridden more patiently and Agartha clearly did the best of those who raced prominently.
This proved she has plenty of ability and it will be interesting to see where connections go next. She has the speed for shorter, but might just get a mile too.

Yashin
By Mark Boylan, reporter
Jessica Harrington has made a bright start to the new Flat season and there was definite encouragement to take from the comeback effort of this three-year-old by Churchill.
A trio of useful types with solid form from last season dominated in the opening three-year-old mile maiden, but Yashin shaped quite nicely in fourth from a wide draw. It was his first start since being gelded.
He may not be one of the stable's leading lights but he can be expected to go close in a maiden if connections opt to pursue that route.
However, he would be most interesting if sent handicapping after this third qualifying run, obviously depending on how the assessor rates him. There should be more to come.

Global Energy
By Brian Sheerin, reporter
He may have only finished seventh of the ten runners in the 1m2f handicap, but Sheila Lavery's Global Energy showed loads of promise and is a horse capable of winning races this season.
Global Energy fetched decent money as a breezer and, while he wasn't good enough to win a maiden last season, should be able to make a splash in handicaps this term.
He is far from the finished article and, despite showing signs of greenness, shaped as though he was going to get involved early in the straight before flattening out a little.
There should be more to come, with this being his first start in a handicap, and he may even get dropped a couple of pounds. He's definitely one to keep onside.
