Expert jury: who impressed most on day three at Glorious Goodwood?
Racing Post writers pick the horses who impressed them most on day three of Glorious Goodwood
Supremacy
Won the Qatar Richmond Stakes
No winner on day three impressed more than Supremacy, who took another big leap forward when taking what is invariably an informative Group 2 with considerably more ease managed by his talented sire Mehmas in 2016 or his top-class stablemate Golden Horde last year.
Golden Horde went on to be placed in the Prix Morny and the Middle Park, and Supremacy, who looks all speed, will set a high standard wherever he goes.
Graham Dench
Mogul
Won the John Pearce Racing Gordon Stakes
If you look at Mogul's older brother Japan, his form really improved after his first two runs so perhaps we should expect much more to come from Thursday's Gordon Stakes winner.
Mogul really knuckled down to win this, finishing powerfully and just thrusting his head in front and this could be the start of a big summer for Mogul.
The Grand Prix de Paris is his next target and he would have to be considered a key contender for that Group 1 contest. The Leger would be another interesting route.
James Stevens
Fancy Blue
Won the Qatar Nassau Stakes
It is not hard to fancy the Nassau Stakes winner - she has a fancy pedigree and fancy connections and Fancy Blue is certainly the real deal.
Frankie Dettori dictated on Magic Wand but Ryan Moore always looked to have her covered and had the race won inside the final furlong. His mount was value for more than the neck by which she held One Voice's late effort.
The Prix de Diane winner will get a mile and a half and has numerous options for more Group 1 success.
