Wheel turns full circle as Edinburgh owner Ray Green completes a double

Long-serving Edinburgh-based owner Ray Green collected two first prizes on the Scottish Grand National card to give him a tonic after the loss of smart chaser Forest Des Aigles in last Friday’s Topham Trophy.

Green, an owner for 35 years, is part of the Marvellous Partnership which owns Mahlervous, the winner of the 2m5f handicap hurdle.

He said: "This was plan all season and it's great it has come off."
