The Welsh Grand National-winning team of trainer Christian Williams and jockey Jack Tudor, rising stars of their respective professions, teamed up again to hit Fakenham with the perfect storm on Thursday.

Williams, who sent out Potters Corner to land a breakthrough major-race success at Chepstow last month, sent three runners on the 270-mile trip to the north Norfolk track from his Vale of Glamorgan stables and notched his first treble with Strictlyadancer, Massini’s Dream and Cap Du Nord, the last two partnered by 17-year-old riding sensation Tudor.

Those three wins took the trainer's Fakenham record to 13 winners from 33 runners, a near 40 per cent strike-rate, to show he knows how to place his horses to win round there.
