Well-bred Nation gets career back on track with all-the-way win
Acclaim The Nation, a half-brother to King's Stand winner Profitable, got his career back on track with an all-the-way success under Jason Hart in the 5f handicap.
His only previous success had been in a maiden at Beverley, but on his last two runs last season he finished nearer last that first.
Winning trainer Eric Alston said: "He was very weak as a two-year-old so he never ran, and last year he was so quick I thought he'd never get beaten. But he only won once.
