Homestrait was bought back by the Nick Bradley Racing team for £32,000 after the filly landed the 7f seller.

She is highly regarded by trainer Brian Ellison and her owners, having earned more than £60,000 in prize-money and bonuses since being purchased for €5,000 at the Goffs Orby Book 2 sale last October. She has yet to finish outside the first two, winning two of her seven starts.

Ben Robinson partnered the two-year-old, who tracked Snake Charmer before making her move two furlongs out and drawing clear for a two-and-three-quarter-length success.

Ellison said: “We were always going to buy her back. She’s a lovely filly, turns up all the time, is grand to deal with and very consistent.

“She won us the €50,000 Goffs bonus at Doncaster having only cost very little, so it’s going well.”

It is the first season the Nick Bradley Racing syndicate has had horses in training with Ellison who, when asked if the link-up would create some more opportunities, said: “I hope so. Nick’s good to deal with and we have another nice filly of his called Temple Of Athena.”

Homestrait is entered in the Goffs Million at the Curragh next month.

Nick Bradley Racing members enjoyed another winner in the following 7f handicap courtesy of Bellarchi, who recorded her eighth career success. Three of those victories have been this season, with Oli Stammers doing the steering on the Grant Tuer-trained four-year-old every time.
