Conflated won the Savills Chase in good fashion, achieving a Racing Post Rating of 170 in the process. Ten-year-old Kemboy (163), five lengths back in second, again ran well in Grade 1 company, while Fury Road achieved a personal best RPR of 162 in third.

The fourth Franco De Port (161) came back to his best and improvement is not out of the question given he is a seven-year-old. A step back up in trip is likely to suit.

The withdrawal of Gold Cup winner A Plus Tard meant it was not the strongest renewal, but Conflated was still up to the level required to win the race in an ordinary year.
