Ed Walker is hoping stewards at Royal Ascot replicate the decision of Kempton officials to allow Agrotera to be accompanied by a pony in the paddock, as she was here before winning the Listed Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes.

The headstrong chestnut was joined by former racehorse Dannios in the preliminaries, long before anyone or anything else was around in the paddock for the mile feature and slipped off quietly to post under Gerald Mosse.

The 7-2 joint-favourite, who won the Sandringham Handicap at the Royal meeting last year, was understandably a bit keen in the early stages of her reappearance but came home well to deny the useful Preening.
