Yet another son of Frankel found himself in the winner's circle after the 1m3½f maiden as The Grand Visir found what was required under Ryan Moore to get up and beat Fibonacci by a neck on his racecourse debut

The winner had a hefty £750,000 price tag as a yearling and joint owner Imad Al Sagar said: “We are very, very happy with that as we have always liked him and now importantly he has proved it on the track as well.

“I talked to William [Haggas, trainer] and he thought the horse would have a very good chance, however Ryan came back and said he was still a bit green but progressed during the race and stuck to his task.”
