Harry The Viking stepped into the void left by his former stablemate Neptune Equester to secure a heartwarming hat-trick for his owner and trainer in the £40,000 Scottish Borders National.

The 11-year-old proved the ideal replacement for Neptune Equester, who collapsed and died at the course in February after winning the two previous runnings of the 4m½f handicap chase.
