Unconsidered Adams Barbour hands out a good clipping at 80-1

Adams Barbour stunned his rivals and punters in the second division of the 6f handicap when scoring by a head at 80-1. His Betfair SP was 185-1, while he paid €134.10 for a win on the Tote.

It is fair to say the success came as something of a surprise with his form figures coming into the race 800080, and he had been beaten 25 lengths into tenth only seven days ago at the Curragh.

A switch of surface did the trick, though, and Adams Barbour made a winning Dundalk debut under Alan Persse for trainer Lee Smyth.
