Two for June as Haggas completes double

William Haggas's raids on northern tracks are always feared and Friday showed why. The Newmarket trainer landed a head-and-nose double with Nicklaus and One For June, his only two runners, both getting up in the shadow of the post in the first two races.

One For June races in the colours of the Scotney/Symonds/Fisher Partnership, which was represented by Peterborough-based Alan Symonds.

"We nearly didn't run her because of the ground," said Symonds by way of explanation for his lack of company, "but I'm glad we did.
