The more Group 1 races Aidan O'Brien wins the more modest he seems to become, but one of his Ballydoyle employers on Friday praised the remarkable achievements of the superstar trainer and Coolmore's superstar stallion after Rhododendron thrashed the Dubai Fillies' Mile field.

Last Sunday O'Brien rewrote racing's history books by sending out Found, Highland Reel and Order Of St George to finish first, second and third in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. The Chantilly principals were all sired by Galileo, as were Rhododendron and Hydrangea, who this time gave O'Brien a one-two in a race that dented some lofty reputations.
