Team Tizzard flying but Thistlecrack chasing debut in balance

Although Thistlecrack is increasingly unlikely to make his long awaited debut over fences at Chepstow on Tuesday, the Colin Tizzard team underlined their wellbeing with a double via On Demand and Gentleman Jon.

The team made it an across-the-card treble when Third Intention took the feature Grade 2 Old Roan Chase at Aintree to add to the gains closer to home in Somerset, where Tizzard's son and assistant Joe was on duty.
