Symonds and Dennis link-up proving fruitful as Cyclop wins again

Tom Symonds and David Dennis only combined as a team in October, but their newly formed partnership has been instantly fruitful and their flying form continued after Cyclop cruised to another Chepstow victory.

Symonds was joined by former trainer Dennis as his assistant along with 18 horses including Cyclop, and the diminutive nine-year-old backed up his win at the track over fences last time with an easy success in the 2m7½f handicap hurdle under Lilly Pinchin.

"I'm delighted. He's very small and at the age of nine it's nice to see he's still able to do it," Symonds said. "He really enjoys Lilly riding him and they're a joy to watch.
