'He'll go to the final of this series now' - Stump Or Slips completes four-timer to remain undefeated for Olly Murphy

Stumps Or Slips retained his unbeaten record since joining Olly Murphy and completed a four-timer with victory in the 2m4f novice hurdle.
Sean Bowen partnered the eight-year-old, who was previously trained by Tom Weston, to a three-length success from Betty’s Tiara to record a first success over hurdles, his previous wins coming over fences.
"He's full of confidence and has probably been running in races that haven't been competitive," said Murphy. "He's at the right end of the handicap and it helped he was able to run in a competitive race with no penalties. He's been a real fun horse for connections, but things are going to get tougher now."
Stumps Or Slips will be entered for the final of the Arc Summer Novices' Brush Hurdle back at Worcester on Friday, September 26.
"Tom is one of my best friends, and he suggested to the owners that he might benefit from a change of scenery as the horse had been with him since he was three," added Murphy. "He hasn't improved, but he's been refreshed with a new set of surroundings, which he's enjoying. Tom has been really helpful and it was nice of him to suggest the change of scenery.
"He'll go to the final of this series now, so he won't run until the middle of September."
