Kristin Stubbs saddled her first winner since her brief break from training when Top Of The Bank made all for a clear-cut win in the 6f handicap at a surprisingly generous 20-1.

The four-year-old, bought on Kevin Ryan's advice, is now guaranteed a special place in her affections, as he was also her last winner before she allowed her licence to lapse.

Reflecting on her short-lived spell on the sidelines, Stubbs, who was struggling to make training pay, said: "I went to work for David O'Meara, but I'd only been there a couple of weeks when I realised I had made the wrong decision.
