Silvestre de Sousa stepped up a gear in his bid to regain the jockeys' title with a treble on the Norfolk coast kicked off by a horse owned by a car dealer.

Colin Bacon, owner of Junction 17 cars, is evidently also an expert on the Irish form book and picked out his latest winner Sean O'Casey before purchasing him privately over the winter.

The heavily backed 13-8 favourite was among the ranks of the Ballydoyle empire before that and the son of Galileo certainly looked the part beforehand.
