Killenaule trainer Andy Slattery has never known a week like it, nor a season, with big-race success piling on top of big-race success, and there was more when the Pat Garvey-owned filly Planchartlanded the Listed Arthur Guinness EBF Corrib Fillies Stakes under Declan McDonogh.

It was a tough performance as she needed every yard of this testing seven furlongs to overhaul Rayisa, on whom rider Shane Foley had gone for home entering the straight.

"I felt if I could have re-run her run in the Oaks Trial at Naas last time over ten furlongs that she would have won, and I don't think I'll be running her again over seven; that's as short as she wants and we got away with it today," said Slattery.
