It's magic says Skelton as Simply Lucky avoids mayhem

Dan Skelton continued his flying start to the jumps season as Simply Lucky gave him a fifth winner in two days by landing a hugely eventful 3m handicap hurdle.

Point N Shoot was kicked at the start and withdrawn just before the off, while Midnight Magic lost almost 40 lengths when shying and veering left as the tape was let go.

Then Lapford Lad crashed through the wing of the first flight, where Flying Verse veered left and unseated his rider, as did Cecile De Volanges after being badly hampered.
