Silvestre de Sousa got the 2019 season on the North Denes off to a scintillating start with a treble in the first three races. The treble kicked off in impressive style when Take It Down Under made all to put some respectable opposition in their place in the mile handicap.

The reigning champion jockey plotted a winning course down the middle of the straight course on the Amy Murphy-trained handicap debutant to score by an easy four and a half lengths.

The four-year-old may well be found a race under a penalty such was the ease of his success, but could well be in different colours next time.
