'She was coasting around' - Royal Ascot possible for Ali Shuffle after she keeps perfect record intact in Lily Agnes

Ali Shuffle could be set for a date at Royal Ascot next month after she maintained her perfect record when waltzing to victory in the Lily Agnes Conditions Stakes.
The Karl Burke-trained juvenile completed a hat-trick with a front-running success from stall one by a length under Sam James, adding to her wins at Redcar and Beverley last month in a busy start to her career.
Burke said: "That was very straightforward. I know the draw is a massive advantage here but she won with a little bit in hand. She was coasting around there.
"She's got such a great mind. Very early on people were ringing me up for first-season sires and we have three A'Ali fillies. I said all of them will win, but she's the only one we've managed to run so far. She's probably exceeded expectations."
The royal meeting may be on the cards for Ali Shuffle, who is 16-1 with Unibet for the Queen Mary Stakes. Another run at Beverley is possible beforehand.
Burke added: "Nick [Bradley] said about the Hilary Needler, but we'll see how she is. She can go to Ascot and wouldn't disgrace herself there, that's for sure. She'll be even better over six furlongs and with a lead, but we couldn't give up that draw today."
Red alert for layers
Redorange justified strong market support in the 5f three-year-old handicap to set himself up for a big summer assignment.
The Clive Cox-trained winner was backed into 11-10 (from 5-2) and his supporters had little to worry about as he picked up front-runner Ruby's Profit in the closing stages under Rossa Ryan.

"They've gone really hard and his low draw was very helpful," said Cox. "He's got a great mind for a sprinter and, most importantly, so much speed.
"He's improved from two to three and gelding him might have helped. He could be a horse we're thinking about for the [Palace of] Holyroodhouse at Royal Ascot. We're really excited about him – he's very talented."
Hammer hammers rivals
Hammer The Hammer made a mockery of his rivals when completing an impressive hat-trick in the 6f handicap.
The Kevin Ryan-trained three-year-old was 7lb ahead of his mark for winning by six lengths at Southwell last month and put up another fine performance when making all to score by four and a quarter lengths under Tom Eaves.
Ryan said: "We were forced to run him here, but he was entitled to and when I saw the draw I thought 'here we go'. He's got great gate speed and huge talent.
"We've always thought a lot of him and aren't bothered by moving him up the levels. He's a very good horse. I had it in mind to go for a handicap at Royal Ascot with him but we'll have to see what the handicapper does."
Daiquiri delight
Alan King took his healthy strike-rate in the last fortnight to 23 per cent when Daiquiri Bay won the 1m2½f maiden.
