Shanksforamillion shows Hamer has more than one string to her bow

The exploits of Tobefair brought Debra Hamer to national attention, but even with a string numbering around a dozen hers is no one-horse yard.

Already this season she has recorded four winners and the prolific Tobefair, who won seven races in a row until his defeat at the Cheltenham Festival, has yet to be asked to make a contribution.

Tobefair was transformed by his switch to Hamer's stables in Nantycaws, near Carmarthen, and Shanksforamillion has began his career at the yard in a similar vein, winning his second handicap hurdle of the month under Richard Patrick after being off the track for 20 months.
