Selma Grage all the rage as favourite Tynecastle Park scores again

Only three runners contested the feature 2m½f handicap, but it was not short of intrigue as course specialist Tynecastle Park got up to deny Cosmelli under 7lb apprentice Selma Grage.

Tynecastle Park looked to be in trouble as the Tom Eaves-ridden Cosmelli seized the initiative in the home straight, but Grage kept her cool and the 4-9 favourite outstayed the runner-up by half a length.

"It's a long way round Southwell and you can't panic," said the jockey on Sky Sports Racing. "He's so honest, he never stops and kept galloping all the way to the line."
