A cold and windy Wednesday night at Kempton is not on many bucket lists, but for Bex Carey it was everything as she finally got to welcome in a winner in her father's colours after Second Thought maintained his unbeaten record on the all-weather in the feature Hyde Stakes.

Liam Sheridan has been unwell, but two generations of his family were on hand to cheer home the talented three-year-old they know and love as 'ST'.

He didn't half put them through the wringer, sneaking through on the inside rail in the final two strides under James Doyle to clock his fifth victory on the all-weather in as many starts and, as this was a fast-track qualifier, you would imagine it would be back to the scene of his win on All-Weather Championships Finals day.
