The £105,000 QTS Scottish Champion Hurdle is a possibility for Bedrock after he breezed home on his debut for Iain Jardine in the 2m3½f novice hurdle.

Bought for 70,000gns to go jumping having been with William Haggas on the Flat, he joined Dan Skelton and ran a tremendous race when third to Defi Du Seuil in last season's Grade 1 Anniversary Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree.

After winning a small race at Bangor earlier this season he was subsequently transferred to Jardine by owners the Risk Takers Partnership. Given a wind operation, he could not have been any more impressive on his stable debut as he quickened clear under Ross Chapman to land odds of 4-9 on the bridle by eight lengths.
