Sam Twiston-Davies stole the show with a poignant treble a day after the sad news of The New One’s death.

The top rider teamed up with Richard Newland for his first two victories as Chef De Troupe landed the 2m claiming hurdle before Orchestral Rain captured the 2m juvenile hurdle.

The duo are now 4-9 when combining at the Cambridgeshire track and are proving a profitable pair to follow at the course, with a £7.10 level-stakes profit during that spell.
