After his Charlemar had won a decent novice hurdle at Aintree last weekend, trainer Harry Whittington said that the four-year-old didn't show a great deal at home as a 90-rated horse could make him look ordinary, only he failed to mention what that 90-rated horse was.

Here we found out. It was Ruby Yeats and she won the 1m7½f mares' maiden hurdle at 40-1.
