They don't come much tougher than eight-year-old Roy's Legacy, who won his 19th race on his 129th start when taking the 5f handicap by a head under Charlie Bennett.

Although it was his fourth win of the year, he was sent off at 25-1 having not run up to his best in recent outings.

He has been trained throughout his life by Shaun Harris, who bought him as a yearling at Doncaster in November 2010. He cost £4,000 and has proved a bargain for he has won at least one race every year and has now accumulated more than £72,000 in prize-money.
