Romanised put Curragh trainer Ken Condon on the map when he landed the Irish 2,000 Guineas 14 months ago, but his stable star had been without a win since.

However, he deservedly found the winning touch again when running out a decisive scorer of the Group 2 Paddy Power Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh.

Billy Lee tracked the James Tate-trained Hey Gaman, who was two from two this season, and stayed on strongly to pounce late and win by a length, with Safe Voyage back in third.
