The market proved the best guide to the two feature handicaps at Dunstall Park on Tuesday evening with Brimham Rocks and Nostalgie justifying significant support.

Brimham Rocks, owned by Mr and Mrs David Aykroyd, appeared a fine prospect for the campaign with an authoritative victory on his handicap debut in the 1m4f event.

Fran Berry’s mount, trained by Ralph Beckett, found plenty in the home straight to notch a two-and-three-quarter length win over Shadow Warrior at odds of 5-4 from an opening price of 100-30 the night before.
