Seven-year-old Robot Boy landed the richest prize of his 40-race career when coming out best in the £46,000 5f Betway Handicap.

Trained by David Barron for owners Laurence O'Kane and Paul Murphy, he came home strongly to get the better of the well-backed Bowson Fred by a length and a quarter in a contest in which few featured as several lost their chance when suffering interference.
