Rising star Lorcan Williams has biggest day in the saddle as he notches a treble

Lorcan Williams enjoyed the biggest day of his career so far with a first treble, highlighted by the victory of Romain De Senam in the feature 2m5½f handicap chase.

The first of his three winners came with Captain Cattistock in the 3m2f novice chase, a race Williams won in 2017 to give him a first winner for boss Paul Nicholls.

He followed that with victory on Danse Idol before striking on Romain De Senam, who battled on to beat Not Another Muddle by a length.
