Quorto takes top ranking as Van Dyck looks ready for another furlong

The Group 1 National Stakes has a rich tradition of providing quality performances and it lived up to its billing again as Quorto retained his unbeaten record.

The colt is now this year's leading two-year-old, earning a Racing Post Rating of 122 for his defeat of Anthony Van Dyck (119).

Quorto travelled through the race much better than the runner-up, if anything overracing a fraction, suggesting there is more improvement to come.
