Ian Williams' 2018 just gets better and better, for having reached the 100-winner mark with a fortnight to spare he topped £1 million in prize-money for the Flat alone through Monjeni's short-head success in the 2m handicap.

Williams, who had his first runners in 1996 and has long been recognised as one of the foremost dual-purpose trainers, confirmed: "It's been our best year winners wise, with 103 now I believe, and Monjeni has just taken us past £1 million in prize-money on the Flat for the first time.
