There was a real star attraction at Catterick on Wednesday as Queen Kindly, who had been third in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot, appeared in the opening 5f fillies' novice stakes.

With the daughter of Frankel being sent off at odds of 1-16 there was little excitement for punters, as could be gathered from the lack of noise as she breezed clear in the final furlong under Jamie Spencer. Connections still got a reasonable reward for little work, as a £10,000 Plus 10 bonus was added to her first-place prize-money of just over £3,200.
