Priscilla's Dream confirms promise as McBride finds his stride
Charlie McBride has hit form after a quiet spell and gained a third success from his last six runners when Priscilla's Dream got off the mark in the second division of the 7f handicap.
The three-year-old Bated Breath filly had shown promise in her previous starts and came with a powerful late run on the inside rail under a daring Jason Hart ride to register victory at the seventh attempt.
"She was given a great ride and it's about time she won one," said a relieved McBride. "She didn't handle the undulations at Ripon last time, but apart from that she's been running consistently well."
