Dylan Browne McMonagle has enjoyed many a big day on the pony racing circuit and the highly-touted 16-year-old notched a memorable first in horseracing when partnering Jumellea to a cosy success in the mile fillies' handicap at Navan.

Trained by Joseph O'Brien, Jumellea took over to lead approaching the final furlong before sprinting clear to win by six lengths.

The elated youngster said: "It's great to get my first winner for Joseph. It couldn't have gone any better as my family are here and it's a great day."
