Patrick Mullins enjoys first Carlisle winner on another successful visit to Britain

Patrick Mullins has ambitiously set his sights on winning at every jumps track in Britain after he landed his first Carlisle success on More Coko in the opening 2m1f novice hurdle.
The amateur rider struck on his first visit to the Cumbrian venue when the 1-5 favourite, trained by his father Willie, won at a canter to maintain his unbeaten record. Mullins has now ridden winners at 14 courses in Britain that stage jump racing, with 27 to go.
Mullins told Racing TV: "This is a brilliant track. It's very idiosyncratic to ride, quite a bit like Tramore. I'd quite like to come back and ride the chase track as someone said it was one of the best in the country.
"There's 41 tracks in Britain with jump racing and I'd like to tick them off. If we keep ticking them off at four, five, six tracks a year then we might get there. It'd be a nice adventure to try anyway, as I think my Dad doesn't even know I'm here!"

The win took the rider's strike-rate in Britain this season to a red-hot 60 per cent.
Long wait over
Jimmy Moffatt ended a six-month wait for a victory when Vroomoz Eile won the 2m3½f mares' novice hurdle.
The Grade 1-winning trainer had not been in the winner's enclosure since August until the six-year-old's four-and-a-half length success under Charlotte Jones.
Notable win
Gary Rutherford enjoyed his first jumps winner on a sole licence since March 2017 with Don Brocco in the 3m½f handicap chase.
