It has been a season of ups and downs for Lambourn trainer Joseph Tuite but he was all smiles after Cincuenta Pasos ploughed through the rain softened ground to land the 7f handicap.

The victory proved to be Tuite’s 11th of the season and he said: “Numerically we are down on winners on last year but having a Group 3 winner in the shape of Madam Dancealot makes up for that as she has been a real success story for the yard.

“She only cost £5,000 and has been sold twice over the summer - the first time she went for £100,000 and then after her Group win at Salisbury she sold for 260,000 last weekend and I wish her new connections the best of luck.
